This ornate glass comes from the belgian town of Boom located in The Rupel Region. Boom glass factory started its activity in 1923 and had soon flourished in the twenties. This bloom lasted until the sixties, because after the war was manufactured in Boom beautifuldesign glass. The company made many kinds of glass, lamp and vases to many liqueur glass and candy dish. The glassworks in The Rupel Boom were inter alia very tipical vases made often of black glass, hyaliet glass called. they are beautiful, nicely decorated vases from the thirties to the fifties. In the sixties, the emphasis was put on the pruduceren of opaline glass items.

The vase has a decoration technique from dentelle, sandblasting and painting gold.
